Queer organizations need support now more than ever! Wine Country Pride invites queer-owned and allied businesses to take action this Pride Month.
As you’ve done in years past with Rainbow Quest, we encourage you to show your pride by selecting a product or service to feature in June, with $1 to $5 or a percentage from each purchase pledged to Wine Country Pride.

🌈Post it, tag us, and we’ll amplify your support by sharing it across our platforms.🌈

The Flag Campaign is an integral part of Wine Country Pride and a great way to show your business supports the LGBTQ+ community. 🌈
This simple symbol means so much to many beautiful humans in wine country and it helps our community feel the support that we all need to thrive. It signals that Yamhill County is a place that welcomes humans of all kinds.
While this campaign is designed for businesses, we encourage individuals and families to consider purchasing their own flags to fly at home. Every year people reach out to comment on how important these symbols are to them.

Please use our form 📝at the link in our bio to let us know that you would like to fly a flag at your business. We love to see them all around town! And, not just in the month of June!🥰

Why the Progress Flag? Because queer people are al Why the Progress Flag? Because queer people are all people:
We are all races and ethnicities, rich and poor, old and young. We exist in every religion, political party, and nation. Flying this flag is a symbol of radical inclusion.

The Progress Pride Flag, designed in 2018 by non-binary American artist Daniel Quasar (xe/xyr), builds upon the original rainbow flag created by Gilbert Baker in 1978. Baker’s flag featured eight colors, each color symbolic - life, healing, sunlight, nature, and spirit. Quasar’s redesign introduced a chevron with black and brown stripes to represent LGBTQ+ people of color, and light blue, pink, and white stripes for Trans representation. In 2021, the flag evolved further to incorporate a yellow triangle with a purple circle, symbolizing the intersex community. The circle represents wholeness and the right of intersex individuals to bodily autonomy. This addition underscores the importance of recognizing and celebrating the diversity within the LGBTQIA+ community.

Join us to raise the Progress Pride Flag at our Pride kickoff event at @macmkt on June 3rd! Event starts at 4p, Trivia at 6p! We’ll have flags available for purchase, pick one up for your home or business. Let’s raise it together!🏳️‍🌈
